In most situations, getting an approval is a straight forward process which involves: making sure you have valid travel documents, you are in good physical and financial health, and you are able to answer a set of simple screening questions. Our expert customer support team is here to help you every step of the way and they can answer any travel-related questions you might have 24/7.

Please remember to apply online minimum 4 days in advance of the date of arrival and make sure you have a copy of Electronic Travel Authorization along with you, during your travels.

We also recommend you check you are in general good health, or you that you have your condition monitored and your doctor gave you a prescription already.

Please note, for an Indian e-Visa approval, you cannot have any criminal or immigration-related convictions.

Check your records: have you ever been refused a visa, a permit, denied entry to, or ordered to leave India or any other country? If yes, you won’t qualify for an e-Visa, so would recommend you a VISA.

Health notice: Nationals of Yellow Fever affected countries or travelers arriving from these countries must have their yellow fever vaccination card.

Persons holding eVisa will be allowed to enter into India only through one of the selected 28 Airports and 5 Seaports. Exit is allowed through more border points.

On arrival in India, make sure you provide honest answers to all the questions raised by the border officer. Consider mentioning the ties that will take you back to your home country, after your visit to India — think of your current job details, home situation, financial assets, family information.

If asked, do your best to clarify the plans for your travel. Present any booked hotels, trips or plane tickets to show that you will leave India at the end of your visit. We recommend you make sure your hotel reservations and plane ticket confirmations are easily accessible to you while you are on the go.

Prior to departure, ensure you have enough money in your bank account to prove you can support yourself during your stay. Think of a way that allows you to easily show this to the border officer, if they request it. Consider you might be in a situation with low or no internet connection.
